August already!!!!
It is so hard to believe it is August and school will start in just 3 short weeks! I think this has been a great summer! We have gone to the lake, discovered a splash park in our town, played in the sprinklers, ridden bikes, gone for walks... and we will keep on going until school actually starts!

I'm sorry about the loss of your dog. Pets become such a beautiful and important part of our families that it's so difficult when they pass away.
Each of pur kids has reacted so differently to the loss of our cat. Our oldest (10) is very sad but quiet. He just wants to be sure she has a little headstone on her grave and will be remembered. Our middle child (7) says we shouldn't have told her (as if that was even a possibility), and our youngest just wants the cat back. You're right - hard to know how they will react!
I will keep your family in my prayers. I hope each day ahead gets easier without your special little dog!
